Trapani Mysteries Procession, on Good Friday, is a complex sequence of events that, for four hundred years, has kept intact its spiritual value and the deep link between the procession and the city, although changing its external and spectacular component. The Holy Procession, composed of 20 religious groups, starts at 2:00 PM on Good Friday and ends twenty-four hours later. It is considered as the longest Italian religious event, after Sant’Efisio festival which lasts about 4 days. The Holy Procession starts from the Church of the Purgatory Souls and it covers the main streets of the city.

The Cous Cous Fest is the International Festival of cultural integration, a very important event which is renewed for fifteen years, involving, in its festive atmosphere, all the countries of the euro -Mediterranean area and beyond. Undisputed protagonist of the event is the Cous Cous, a dish rich in history and element of synthesis among different cultures, symbol of openness and contamination: a central focus is the international gastronomic competition which attracts chefs from around the world

For some years, usually in April, thousands of people are present, with great fervor, at Erice event, included into the international calendar of the chrono climbing. The Erice Chronoclimbing follows a path of about 6 km, very exciting especially for those who love speed and racing. The route is steep and has many curves, from the valley to the summit, that’s to say from Valderice to the straight placed near the monumental complex of San Giovanni of Erice. The Erice chronoclimbing celebrated its 50th edition, in 2007. The attendance of members was huge, also foreign pilots and the vintage car category. It has always been valid as first round of the Italian Speed Mountain. Who would like to visit Erice during the Event, it’s possible to get it by cableway, a way to enjoy the magnificent view from above.
